As summer starts to wrap up, Downtown Markham is just getting warmed up! From September 12-14, 2025, the Eastside Lot at 179 Enterprise Blvd will become a lively place filled with delicious food, live music, and fun for the whole family. And the best part? It’s free to attend!
If you love food, you’re in for a treat. This year’s event highlights some of Downtown Markham’s culinary treasures, including the famous Ruth’s Chris Steak House, the fresh and tasty Poke Guys, and the exciting new Pears Restaurant.
The food experience doesn’t stop there-visitors can enjoy authentic Japanese street food, indulge in crispy egg waffles, savor Takoyaki and rice balls, and munch on everyone’s favorite potato skewers. Whether you’re a foodie seeking bold tastes or a family looking for comforting meals, the Food Fest has something for everyone.
Each evening features energetic performances from local and international artists:
• Friday, September 12
6:00-7:30 PM: Devo DLive – Toronto’s very own DJ, host, and performer.
8:00-10:30 PM: Lazo & Exodus – A heartfelt tribute to Bob Marley.
• Saturday, September 13
Daytime: Hit Pop Dance & Live Show – Featuring Toma Dance Fashion Show, R. P. M Dance Crew, Zeekers Danz Studio, Carol Dance, and the MFFC Youth Choir.
8:00-10:30 PM: Stoned and Rolling – A popular tribute band to The Rolling Stones.
• Sunday, September 14
Afternoon: Hit Pop Dance with Reverie Dance Team.
4:00-6:30 PM: Triple Play – An energetic live band to wrap up the weekend.
The kids won’t miss out on all the excitement. The Kid Play Zone will be available on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14 (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM), featuring activities like bouncy castles and entertainment to keep children engaged while parents enjoy their food and music.
