The City of London has announced that Clarke Road will be closed between Veterans Memorial Parkway and Fanshawe Park Road East starting Monday, specifically along the JW Carson Bridge for construction purposes.
“Instead of waiting for things to fall behind, we’re getting ahead of it,” the city stated. “These projects are about building capacity now so the area can handle more people, more homes, and more activity in the years ahead.”

Detour routes established
While construction is ongoing, northbound drivers will be redirected to Huron Street and then north on Highbury Avenue toward Fanshawe Park Road East. For southbound traffic, drivers can use Fanshawe Park Road East and continue south on Highbury Avenue to Huron Street. All businesses in the area will remain open during this time.
