Exciting gastropub combines sports, food, and fun August 27, 2025 – Gateway Casinos & Entertainment (Gateway) is thrilled to announce the launch of MATCH Eatery & Public House (MATCH) at Gateway Casinos London on September 3, 2025. MATCH is a popular restaurant chain with spots in British Columbia, Ontario and Alberta; it’s become a local favorite in Wasaga Beach, Rama, Chatham, Hanover and North Bay. This opening adds to Gateway’s expanding list of restaurants in Ontario and brings a contemporary gastropub vibe to the City of London. MATCH provides an environment where visitors can enjoy tasty food, live entertainment, and great sports viewing options. The menu showcases elevated pub classics with a local and gastro-inspired flair, all served in a chic and family-friendly atmosphere. High-definition screens throughout the venue ensure fans catch all the action while a large stage hosts live music, DJs, and special events. To celebrate this opening event, employees at MATCH have partnered with London Children’s Health Foundation as their official charity partner. They will donate $5,000 to support life-saving care and essential programs for children and families across Western Ontario. This donation reflects MATCH’s dedication to giving back while ensuring young patients have access to needed resources. The launch of MATCH signifies an important milestone amid extensive $50M renovations currently happening at London’s Western Fair District casino that will expand it to 84,000 sq. ft.
