LONDON, Ont. – In front of a sold-out crowd at Canada Life Place in London, Ontario, Lonnie West (Cadogan, Alberta) showcased his skills by riding perfectly, finishing 2-for-2 to take home the title at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada Cup Series’ London Classic.

As Round 1 kicked off, West secured the seventh-best score after he managed to ride Leader Of The Pack (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) for 83.7 points.

For the championship round, West chose Smudge (CJ Bucking Bulls) as his bull opponent. This decision paid off well as he dominated the bull with an impressive score of 85.8 points, sealing his victory.

This win marked West’s first across all levels of PBR competition since 2022 and earned him an important 121 national points. He jumped from No. 40 to No. 18 in pursuit of the 2026 PBR Canada Championship and its accompanying $100,000 bonus.

At the top of the leaderboard, Nick Tetz (Calgary, Alberta), currently ranked No. 1, finished ninth at the PBR London Classic. He scored 83.8 points on Twisted Logic (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) in Round 1 but did not compete in the championship round due to injury.

This finish allowed Tetz to earn 18 national points and maintain a lead over No. 2 Jeremy Maisonneuve (Val-des-monts, Quebec) by a margin of 333.83 points; Maisonneuve was also sidelined due to injury during this event.

Jordan Hansen (Amisk, Alberta), who returned strong on the event leaderboard, placed second with a total of 79 national points.

Hansen scored 81.5 points on Frigg Off (S& M Bucking Bulls) in Round 1 and followed that up with an impressive score of 85.3 points on Holy Smokes (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) during the championship round.

Aiming for his first PBR Canada Championship this November, Hansen climbed from No. 32 to No. 22 in the national standings.

The final rider to finish a perfect run was Andy Guzman (Oakdale, California), taking third place overall.

Guzman gathered up to 57 national points thanks to his ride scoring an impressive effort of 83.3 aboard Equalizer (Outlaw Buckers Rodeo Corp.) in Round 1 and then followed it up with a score of77 atop Surprise Twist (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) during finals.

After arriving unranked in Ontario, Guzman now stands at No.26 across Canada.

Taking fourth place was two-time PBR Canada Champion Dakota Buttar (Eatonia, Saskatchewan), who won last year’s London Classic event.

Buttar excelled during Round one by scoring an exceptional mark on Joker On A Jack (Thompson Rodeo/K-Rose Ranch), achieving an event-high score of87.2 points when he made it past eight seconds without falling off.

Unfortunately for Buttar though he couldn’t secure victory as More or Less (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) bucked him off after only4.99 seconds during finals.

He heads back home with49 national points which helped him move from No. eight position upwards into No. seven nationally while trailing leader Tetz by452.33points overall

.

Younger competitor Jayden Roy(Mascouche Quebec rounded out top five placings taking fifth spot...

Roy who recently got drafted into Nashville Stampede team for upcoming2026 season gave strong performance showcasing skill set again during Round One where they took home85.4score riding Affairs In Order( Thompson Rodeo Livestock)..

However , momentum quickly dropped like lead balloon when found itself tossed aside unceremoniously within final seconds against Bo Diddley( Legend Rodeos).

An eighteen-year-old has thus accumulated thirty-five additional National Points rising steadily upwards moving place twenty-one into respective position

In Bull pen reigning champion Moonwalk had everyone talking earning YETI “Builtfor Wild” Bull Of The Event accolade performing stronglywith44. two-point rating showcased against Gilmar Santana(Ouro Preto Brazil).
