London Health Sciences Centre welcomes first baby of 2026

LONDON, Ontario – London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is excited to share that the first baby of the new year has been born. Baby Bryson arrived at 1:28 a.m. and weighed in at 7lb 1oz. The little one is celebrated by parents Brooklyn Lemieux and Michael Carlsen

In honor of the first baby of 2026, the owners of London Shoppers Drug Mart have kindly donated a generous gift basket through the London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) for the newborn and their family. 

Shoppers Drug Mart has proudly served London and its surrounding areas for over 25 years. As part of their ongoing dedication to supporting parents in the community, the pharmacist-owners and staff are thrilled to welcome this first baby into the new year.   

LHSC, London Health Sciences Foundation, and Children’s Health Foundation extend their gratitude to the owners of Shoppers Drug Mart for their generous gift basket donation.

Along with the Shoppers Drug Mart gift basket, the Children’s Health Foundation has added a onesie, a baby blanket, and a teddy bear for this special newborn.

LHSC welcomes over six thousand babies every year.
