Collision Claims Two Lives in Ontario

Two individuals have lost their lives and two others are hospitalized after an accident in Norfolk County, located southeast of London, Ont.

The OPP responded to the intersection of Blueline Road and Concession 6 shortly after 4 p. m. on Thursday following reports of a collision involving two vehicles.

Authorities at the scene found that an off-road vehicle had collided with an SUV at the intersection.

There were three people on the off-road vehicle. The driver and one passenger were declared dead at the scene. The second passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV, who was its only occupant, was also taken to the hospital with injuries that have not been specified.

Blueline Road remained closed for several hours before reopening late Thursday night.

An investigation is still underway. Anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage is encouraged to reach out to police.
