Police and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene before 2 a. m. on Monday, at the on-ramp from King Street East to Highway 8 East.
A white taxi cab was spotted upside down, with its roof nearly crushed. A tow truck arrived around 3:45 a. m., attaching chains to the cab to begin removing it from the roadway.
