What began as a single break-and-enter case has now expanded to three, with police stating that the same suspects targeted multiple homes in Kitchener and Waterloo on the same day.

The first incident took place last Friday afternoon in Kitchener, near Victoria and Stoke close to Fischer-Hallman.

Authorities have since connected that burglary to two additional ones occurring the same day in Waterloo, around Fischer-Hallman and Erb.

The specific locations are:

Stoke Drive and Victoria Street South, between 1 p. m. and 3 p. m. Sandford Fleming Drive and Mc Crae Place, between 3 p. m. and 11 p. m. Branstone Drive and Amberwood Drive, between 10:30 p. m. and midnight on May 30, 2026

According to police, the burglars entered each residence through a back door, taking jewelry and other valuables.

If you have any information about these incidents or possess security camera footage that could help, please contact police at 519-570-9777 or reach out anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or by clicking here.

To help prevent break-ins, police advise homeowners to:

Keep doors and windows locked, even when home Store valuables away from common areas and out of sight Set up audible alarm systems Install home video surveillance cameras at both the front and back of your property Inform neighbors if you’ll be away for an extended period and arrange for someone to check on your home Report any suspicious individuals or vehicles to authorities Keep it Factual
