One man has been arrested following stories of a suspicious man on Friday night in Kitchener on Ahren Road West. At roughly 6:25 p.m., police acquired stories of an unknown man who was at a sufferer’s residence. The aged sufferer had acquired a name from an unknown quantity claiming to be from their financial institution’s fraud division, and was advised {that a} financial institution supervisor could be visiting them to gather their financial institution playing cards. A suspect arrived shortly after, claiming to be a financial institution worker and tried to gather their bank cards. Police arrived and arrested the 23-year-old Brampton man outdoors the sufferer’s home. The accused has been charged with fraud underneath $5,000 and has been held for a bail listening to.
