A man from Cambridge has lost his life in a collision on Sunday afternoon, located east of the city.
The Ontario Provincial Police reported that they received the call around 5:40, prompting officers to respond to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 8.
This incident took place near Lynden Road, situated between Sheffield and Rockton.
Officers from the Burlington OPP detachment discovered a 27-year-old man from Cambridge deceased at the scene.
A 69-year-old man from Hamilton was transported to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Police did not clarify whether either of the men were driving.
The vehicles involved were only identified as “passenger vehicles.”
The investigation is ongoing, and OPP traffic investigators would appreciate any information regarding the incident, especially from anyone who may have dash cam footage from that area at the time of the collision.
