688 animals had been adopted, surpassing the group’s aim of serving to greater than 500 animals.

The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is celebrating a profitable vacation adoption marketing campaign after serving to tons of of animals discover new houses throughout the province.

The House for the Holidays adoption marketing campaign ran from Dec. 1 to Dec. 24 and targeted on discovering households for animals of all ages. This included senior pets and long-term shelter residents who had been ready months for adoption.

By the tip of the marketing campaign, 688 animals had been adopted, surpassing the group’s aim of serving to greater than 500 animals. In consequence, tons of of pets spent the vacation season in secure and loving houses.

The Ontario SPCA says the milestone highlights the compassion of adopters throughout Ontario and the affect group help can have on animal welfare.

Whereas the marketing campaign has ended, many animals are nonetheless ready for houses. The group encourages these seeking to undertake to go to ontariospca.ca/undertake.

For these unable to undertake, the Ontario SPCA says year-end donations assist present care and shelter for animals nonetheless in its care. Donations could be made at ontariospca.ca/donate.
