A number of candidates aiming for the leadership of the Ontario Liberal Party will be engaging with residents in Greater Napanee.
The Hastings-Lennox and Addington Provincial Liberal Association is putting together a meet-and-greet at Selby Community Hall on Oct. 4 from 1 to 4 p. m. This event is listed as part of the Ontario Liberal Party’s campaign schedule for their 2026 leadership race.
Confirmed attendees include Stephanie Bowman, MPP for Don Valley West, Lee Fairclough, MPP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore, Eric Lombardi, an entrepreneur in finance and technology, and Dylan Marando, who previously worked in the Premier’s Office and the Prime Minister’s Office.
The doors will open at 1 p. m., with candidate speeches and a question-and-answer session expected to kick off around 2 p. m.
This gathering is open to everyone in the community as well as local media. Attendees can meet the candidates, ask questions, and listen to their thoughts on the future direction of both the party and Ontario.
The leadership vote is planned for November.
