Three individuals are facing numerous charges following a significant drug trafficking investigation linked to the Napanee, Frontenac, and Kingston regions.
The Ontario Provincial Police reported that the East Region Community Street Crime Unit initiated the investigation in April 2026.
As part of this inquiry, police pulled over a vehicle in Napanee on May 13. They confiscated over 500 grams of suspected methamphetamine along with around $3,000 in cash.
Lindsay Patterson, a 41-year-old resident of South Frontenac Township, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, failing to comply with probation, and breach of recognizance offences.
The next day, officers conducted a search at a residence in Whitby with assistance from the Durham Regional Police Service Tactical Unit.
During this operation, authorities seized two loaded firearms, a stolen Ford F-150 truck, more than two kilograms of suspected cocaine, approximately 4.2 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine, and over 715 grams of MDMA. They also recovered suspected fentanyl, heroin, and psilocybin.
Two residents from Whitby-34-year-old Tullaram Naaraine and 33-year-old Lisa Seetaram-were arrested and charged with multiple firearm-related offences as well as drug trafficking and property crimes.
The three suspects have been held pending their bail hearings.
