Kingston mayor-elect Conny Glenn said she plans to try to reset the city’s housing strategy during her term as head of council.
“We’re not going to end all development, but what we do want to do is reset things,” Glenn said following her narrow defeat of long-time incumbent Bryan Paterson.
“So that’s going to be about having some conversations with the community, with developers, so that we make sure that we get on the right track with each other,” she said. “Right now, it’s been an experience where developers and the community seem to be battling one another and that’s not serving anyone.
