ONTARIO-Police say 4 extra arrests have been made and 12 firearms have been seized on account of an assault that occurred at an institution in Hamilton on July 4, 2024.

On October 4, 2024, search warrants have been executed at three residences in Haldimand County, Brantford and Hamilton by members from:

OPP-led Biker Enforcement Unit (BEU)
Haldimand/Norfolk OPP Group Avenue Crime Unit
OPP Techniques and Rescue Unit
OPP Emergency Response Group
Brantford Police Service Emergency Response Group

Police say these warrants led to the arrest of 1 Hells Angels “hangaround” member and three different people. Police say officers seized the next:

Six handguns, two of which had no serial quantity, or the serial quantity had been tampered with
5 rifles
One shotgun
Two prolonged magazines
A silencer
Ammunition

Kody Boyce, age 38 of Dunnville, has been charged with the next 11 offences opposite to the Felony Code (CC):

Lack of firearm not reported
Possession of a prohibited weapon – three counts
Unauthorized possession of a firearm – three counts
Possession of property obtained by crime
Contravention of storage laws
Tamper with serial quantity
Possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with readily accessible ammunition

The accused was remanded into custody and is scheduled to seem earlier than the Ontario Courtroom of Justice in Cayuga on November 26, 2024.

41-year-old Tiffany Cathcart of Dunnville, 23-year-old Kaitlyn Coleman-Kane of Dunnville, and 36-year-old Justin Taylor of Dunnville have every been charged with the next 10 offences opposite to the CC:

Possession of a prohibited weapon – three counts
Unauthorized possession of a firearm – three counts
Possession of property obtained by crime
Contravention of storage laws
Tamper with serial quantity
Possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with readily accessible ammunition

The accused have been launched from custody and are scheduled to seem earlier than the Ontario Courtroom of Justice in Cayuga on November 26, 2024.
