Two teenagers from Guelph, Ontario, are now facing second-degree murder charges following a tragic pedestrian accident last weekend that resulted in the death of a 16-year-old boy.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with paramedics responded to the scene of the crash, which involved a minivan on Wellington Road 29, just south of Eramosa-Garafraxa Town Line shortly after midnight last Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as a young person from Puslinch Township, according to OPP.
Police report that two boys aged 17 were arrested on Friday. They are currently in custody and are expected to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on Saturday.

Their names are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
