Three lanes heading towards Niagara on the Burlington Skyway bridge have reopened after a pickup truck caught fire Friday afternoon. An Ontario Provincial Police spokesperson said the fire was reported around 1:30 p. m. A video shared on X shows the pickup truck ablaze on the shoulder of the bridge, with someone standing nearby as traffic comes to a halt. The OPP stated that it’s unclear if there were any injuries. The lanes were closed for almost two hours while crews dealt with the scene, but they are now back open.
