Halton police are searching for three men following a daytime shooting behind a plaza in Burlington that left one person injured.
The incident took place at Lakeside Shopping Village located at 5353 Lakeshore Rd., between 2:30 p. m. and 3 p. m. on Wednesday, and is thought to be targeted.
According to investigators, the masked suspects approached someone who was heading to a vehicle occupied by three people.
One of the suspects allegedly brandished a sawed-off shotgun and fired a shot into the car’s window.
A person sustained minor injuries from this event.
Halton police are urging anyone with information or surveillance footage to reach out to them.
