A screen capture of a video shows two men aiming their guns towards the front of the building.

A video clip circulating on social media reveals gunmen opening fire at a trucking company located in Caledon.

HGC – The Harman Group has been targeted by gunfire twice, with the latest incident happening on January 6 and the first one occurring in December.

HGC is a trucking business that transports goods for various companies that have warehouses based in Brampton.

Situated on Perdue Court near Airport Road and Mayfield Road, this company is physically in Caledon but is recognized as part of the Brampton business scene.

The video shows two masked individuals approaching the building before they start shooting. At least ten shots can be heard.

It’s thought that a third person from the shooting group recorded this video.

Increasingly, those involved in these kinds of shootings film their actions and send it to victims to intimidate or extort money. However, this hasn’t been confirmed for this specific case.

Following the recent event, the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) released a statement saying both incidents are under investigation. They didn’t name the business, but locals have confirmed that HGC was targeted, as indicated by the visible signage in the video.

“The OPP urges community members to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activity to police,” investigators said in a statement. “This investigation remains ongoing and is being conducted by the Caledon OPP Major Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.”

Anyone with information or surveillance/dashcam footage should reach out to Caledon OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or ontariocrimestoppers. ca.
