An Ontario man who is waiting for his trial in connection with a deadly crash in 2024 is now facing additional charges for stunt driving after a police traffic stop last weekend.
The 20-year-old from Woodstock, Ont., was reportedly spotted driving at a very high speed near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Argentia Road in Mississauga on April 23 around 1 a. m., according to police.

A traffic stop took place without any issues, and the driver was charged with stunt driving, going 102 km/h in a zone marked for 60 km/h, failing to present his driver’s licence, and violating emissions regulations while driving. More on Crime More videos The man also faced an immediate suspension of his driver’s licence for 30 days along with a vehicle impoundment for 14 days. This driver had been previously arrested and charged regarding a fatal incident that happened in Brampton, Ont., on Nov. 24, 2024. He is facing charges of dangerous driving causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
