A 24-year-old suspended driver faces a pair of charges following a northern Ontario visitors criticism final week.
Members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment responded to a visitors criticism on Causley Avenue within the City of Blind River at about 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 12.
“A westbound white cube van ran a red light,” police stated in a information launch.
Roughly half-hour later at about 11 p.m., officers noticed the dice van on Freeway 17 close to River Avenue within the City of Thessalon.
“(Police) initiated a traffic stop,” stated the OPP.
“A query revealed the driver was breaching a curfew and was a suspended driver.”
Because of this, a 24-year-old man from Brampton, Ont., has been charged with failing to adjust to launch orders and driving whereas underneath suspension.
He was held for a bail video listening to and was remanded.
Not one of the accusations has been confirmed in courtroom.
