Your Brampton Library card offers much more than just access to books. You can also borrow games, sports gear, and even get free passes to the Royal Ontario Museum and provincial parks.

In addition to classic literature, Brampton Library branches feature a “Library of Things” that cardholders can utilize. This includes birdwatching kits, telescope sets, seasonal activity packages, Go Pro cameras, and a lot more.

Many cardholders might not be aware that their Brampton Library pass allows free entry to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in Toronto, as well as the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) located in Brampton.

For a limited time, cardholders can also secure passes for The Great War Flying Museum situated in Cheltenham.

“Borrowing any of these passes is as easy as going up to a staff member on your next visit to the Library and asking about available passes. Then enjoy a free visit, courtesy of your favourite Brampton Library branch,” the library mentioned in a social media post promoting these complimentary passes.

ROM Passes are distributed at all Brampton Library branches on a first-come, first-served basis. Each pass permits four guests during regular public hours but excludes blackout dates. Children aged 14 and under need an adult with them.

You can book passes for PAMA through the library’s online catalogue.

Your Brampton Library card also allows you to reserve an Ontario Parks pass. This grants one day-use permit for one vehicle and its passengers at any provincial park across the province. Ontario Park locations within 90 minutes from Brampton include Bronte Creek, Darlington, Earl Rowe, Forks of the Credit, Sibbald Point, Springwater and Wasaga Beach.

For additional information on how to reserve passes or learn about other offerings available through the Brampton Library, click here.
