Ontario Provincial Police in Wellington County have charged a man from Brampton following a single-vehicle crash.
On March 19, at around 3 p. m., officers got a report of a one-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch Township.
The driver received treatment for minor, non-life-threatening injuries at the scene by paramedics.
After the investigation, a 20-year-old from Brampton faces charges under the Cannabis Control Act and the Highway Traffic Act for:
Careless driving Driving with cannabis readily available Class G1 licence holder – unaccompanied by a qualified driver
The accused is set to appear in the Provincial Offences Court – Guelph at a later date.
His name has not been released.
