BARRIE, ONT. – The Ontario Electrical League (OEL) is hosting a roadshow in Barrie, Ont. on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

If you’re part of Ontario’s electrical sector or looking to get involved, you’re invited to join the free event, according to a release.

The event will run from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. at the North Swing Golf Lounge located at 34 Cedar Pointe Dr., gathering independent electrical businesses, licensed contractors, business owners, journeypersons, apprentices, distributors, suppliers, manufacturers and other professionals for an evening filled with discussions and networking opportunities.

Attendance is open to everyone; you don’t have to be an OEL member.

“The electrical industry is made up of so many different people and businesses, and we want to bring them together,” said Beatrice Sharkey, executive director of the OEL, in a statement. “Whether you own an independent electrical company, work in the trade, distribute or supply the products contractors use, are currently an apprentice or are simply interested in learning more about the industry, there is a place for you at the roadshow.”
