Barrie Man Faces Assault Charge After Festival Incident

Barrie Man Faces Assault Charge After Festival Incident

Wellington County OPP reports that the alleged victim suffered minor injuries during Saturday night’s incident.

A man from Barrie has been charged with assault related to an event at a festival in Fergus on Saturday night.

According to Wellington County OPP, officers were called to the scene for a reported “disturbance” around 11 p. m. on May 30.

The alleged victim received minor injuries due to this incident, as stated by the police.

Following their investigation, Darryl White, 44, from Barrie, was charged with assault.

No allegations have been proven in court yet.

The accused was released from custody and is set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on August 21.
