It’s time to cool off and dive in.

The Barrie Police Service is set to hold its yearly Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics Ontario on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 11 a. m. at Centennial Beach.

This event isn’t just for officers; everyone who’s up for a chilly dip and wants to support the cause is encouraged to jump into Kempenfelt Bay.

The Polar Plunge raises funds for programs and activities that assist over 23,000 athletes throughout the province.
