Porter Airlines revealed on Thursday that Hamilton International Airport will now have a route to Tampa, Florida, with four flights each week starting Dec. 18.
Tampa becomes the third destination in Florida that Porter services from Hamilton, alongside Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.
A press release mentions that the flights to Tampa will operate on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, using Porter’s 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
“Porter continues to demonstrate its commitment to Hamilton International Airport, bringing new destinations, enhanced connectivity and greater travel choice to our community,” says Peter Tong, CEO of Trade Port International Corporation.
“The addition of Tampa strengthens our growing Florida and sun destination network and reflects our shared commitment to providing Southern Ontario travellers with more choice and an easy, convenient travel experience.”
