One individual is currently in custody, while authorities are looking for four more after a man was fatally stabbed in Peterborough early Sunday morning.
According to investigators, a man and another person were walking near Monaghan Road and Cameron Street when they encountered five youths around 2 a. m. in a parking lot.
During this altercation, a man was stabbed before the group of youths escaped the scene. The 25-year-old victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The police, along with K9 units and an OPP helicopter, carried out searches in the area for the suspects.
One suspect is now in custody, while investigators are actively searching for four other males, all believed to be under 18 years old.
