Ontario Provincial Police report that a 64-year-old man has passed away following a collision between an SUV and a motorcycle in Ancaster on Thursday. Officers arrived at the crash site shortly after 6 p. m. on Highway 6 and Book Road East. The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Highway 6 was closed in both directions from Highway 403 to Airport Road West, and Book Road East was shut down between Fiddlers Green Road and Southcote Road. Both roads reopened at 11:30 p. m.
