The Halton Regional Police Service is reaching out for assistance from the public after a shooting incident in Oakville.
Officers responded to a home near Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive around 7:35 a. m. on May 22, 2026, following reports of gunfire in the vicinity.
Investigators found that several shots were fired into an occupied house. Fortunately, no injuries were reported despite people being inside at the time.
According to police, they believe this shooting was intentional and there is currently no threat to public safety.
Authorities are looking for information about a dark-colored SUV spotted in the area during the time of the shooting.
Police encourage anyone with details, security camera footage, or dash cam video captured between 7:00 a. m. and 7:45 a. m. near Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive to get in touch with the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
