Randy Michael Ritchie, who was born on April 15, 1965, sadly passed away on January 24, 2026.
Randy hailed from Cobourg, Ontario, and spent the majority of his life in Woodstock, Ontario. There he created a life filled with family, friendships, and many cherished moments.
He is fondly remembered by his wife, Sam Ritchie; his daughter, Hannah Ritchie (Jordan); his bonus daughters, Faith Hyde and Lauren Ficht (Golton); and his beloved granddaughter, Kinsley Bahnuk. He took great pride in being her Papa. Randy is also survived by his mother, Sharron Ritchie; his siblings Colleen Moss (Rick), Garth Ritchie (Karen), and Wanda Rushton (Kenny); along with numerous extended family members and friends who will feel his absence deeply.
A committed business owner, Randy dedicated almost all of his working life to an industry he loved. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. But beyond work, Randy had a big personality paired with an even bigger heart. He was a loyal friend who often became the center of attention at gatherings. Riding his motorcycle-usually quite loudly-was one of his favorite pastimes; he always welcomed others to join him for the ride. Time spent with friends and family brought him joy that was often shared over laughter and a few cold drinks.
Though he could be loud and brash at times, Randy’s generosity knew no bounds; he was the type of guy who would gladly give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. As a father, he adored Hannah and took immense pride in being Kinsley’s Papa-he loved showing off her pictures to anyone willing to look. Anyone who crossed paths with Randy couldn’t help but like him. He’ll be remembered for the distinctive roar of his Harley bike, the incredible stories he told, and all the lives he influenced along the way.
Randy lived life to its fullest with fierce love for those around him while leaving behind a legacy filled with laughter and loyalty that won’t ever fade.
