Regular curbside waste collection will continue in the Waterloo region. Those who usually have pickups on Monday should make sure their items are out by the regular time.
Grand River Transit will run on a holiday schedule on Monday.
Banks and government offices are likely to be closed. There won’t be any mail delivery on Monday. Many stores, including grocery stores, The Beer Store, and LCBO, will also be closed.
Ted Wake Centre is open from 6 a. m. to 10 p. m.
The Cambridge Centre for the Arts welcomes visitors from 1:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m.
The pool at W. G. Johnson Centre operates from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m., but there won’t be any swimming lessons offered there today.
The John Dolson Centre pool runs from noon until 4 p. m., without swimming lessons available.
Arenas like Duncan Mc Intosh and Dickson Centre are not operating today.
You can catch a game at Galt Arena with the Cambridge Redhawks playing at 1 p. m., followed by the Cambridge Hornets game at 6:30 p. m.
If you’re looking for skating opportunities, Hespeler Memorial Arena is open from 11:00 a. m. until 1:00 p. m. for a Family Day skate.

All regional administrative offices will be shut down. Warming spaces will be available at 150 Main St., Cambridge from 8:30 a. m. to 4:30 p. m., and at 150 Frederick St., Kitchener from 10:30 a. m. to 4:30 p. m. Waste transfer stations for residential drop-off in Cambridge and Waterloo will not be open. Public health offices are not operating today. All branches of the Region of Waterloo Public Library will remain closed. Schneider Haus, Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum, and Mc Dougall Cottage in Cambridge will welcome visitors from 11 a. m. to 4 p. m. The administration for Sunnyside Seniors’ Services and the Sunnyside Wellness Centre is closed today. The Community Alzheimer Day Programs and the Young Onset Dementia Association won’t operate today either. The Seniors’ Services Overnight Stay Program will still run as scheduled.Cambridge
