Officers from the Guelph Police Service Human Trafficking Unit have arrested two men from Toronto as part of a human trafficking investigation. This extensive inquiry found that the suspects were involved in the sexual exploitation and trafficking of two young people from Guelph.

The reported incidents took place between September 2025 and February 2026, with the youths being trafficked across several cities in southwestern Ontario. The accused are said to have approached their victims via the social media platform Snapchat.

As a result of this investigation, on April 16, law enforcement officials apprehended 26-year-old Jameel Dosu (who also goes by “Jay” and “DJFamous Jay”) from Toronto. He faces multiple charges under the Criminal Code, including:

· Trafficking a person under 18

· Procuring

· Advertising sexual services

· Material benefit from trafficking

· Material benefit from sexual services of a person under 18

· Publication of an intimate image without consent

· Child sexual abuse material‑related offences

· Sexual interference

· Sexual assault on a victim under 16

· Assault

· Uttering threats

· Failing to comply with probation

On April 26, another suspect, 29-year-old Brian Allard (also known as “King”), was taken into custody and charged with:

· Trafficking a person under 18

· Material benefit from trafficking

· Material benefit from sexual services of a person under 18

· Procuring

· Sexual interference

· Sexual assault on a victim under 16

· Disobeying a court order.

The crime of human trafficking involves exploiting or controlling someone through violence or threats for the purpose of sexual services or forced labor.

The investigators think there may be more victims out there and encourage anyone with information to reach out to the Human Trafficking Unit at 519-824-1212 or via email at humantraffickingunit@guelphpolice. ca.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you can share information through Guelph Wellington Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submitting an anonymous tip online at www. csgw. tips. (Occurrence number GU26018753)
