Site preparation, new construction, and renovation of a mixed-use project in Toronto, Ontario. The design plans involve building a massive 7,782,123-square-foot, 11-story structure with 8,400 multi-residential units; renovating a 378,000-square-foot retail space that is one story above ground; and adding a one-story underground parking garage with 2,522 spaces. This includes the construction of 739,567 m2 of Gross Floor Area (GFA), featuring the adaptive reuse of the existing heritage structure at the Richard L. Hearn Generating Station site. The plan also outlines seven new buildings with tower components throughout the area. A combination of retail and commercial spaces along with other non-residential uses are planned to accompany the 8,400 residential units and 2,522 parking spots. Non-residential areas may exceed 35,000 m2 and will be finalized later in the design process.
