Don Lee Miller, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Alma, Wisconsin on October 7, 2025 at the age of 94. He was born on March 9, 1931, in Ronan, Montana to Elwin P. Miller and Velma (Coulter) Miller.
In December 1931, his family relocated to Alma, Wisconsin where they farmed. When he was five years old, they moved back to Charlo, Montana. After relocating to Alma in February 1988, he drove a school bus for the Alma School District and worked for the Buffalo County ASCS Office before beginning his career as a crop insurance adjuster. That same year he married Bonnie Becker-the love of his life-and together they adjusted crops until retirement. They loved fishing, golfing, snowmobiling and traveling to Arizona for winter months as well as visiting family in Montana and Canada. Don really enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events which included hockey, rugby, swimming, baseball, football, basketball, volleyball and track and field activities. He was a very proud grandpa.
