With heavy hearts, we share the news of Albert’s passing at the age of 73 on February 4, 2026. He was a devoted husband to Yvonne for 29 years. He leaves behind his beloved children Melanie, Michelle, Angie La Feir (Jerry), and AJ (Rhonda). Proudly known as Papa Al to Lauren, Taylor, Natalie, Zoey, Ethan, Annabelle and great-grandchild Aaliyah. He was a caring brother to Pat Anger (John), Barb Price (Ron), Johnny Lindsey (Sherry, 2023), Tommy Lindsey (1978), Ricky Lindsey (Lori), Gordon Jr. Lindsey (Jackie), and a brother-in-law to Wayne Gouin (Shirley), Clairette Gouin, Ron Gouin (Roxanne), Allan Gouin (Colleen), Julie Beaudoin (Ricky), and Laurie Jan Bridges (Mike). He was predeceased by his parents Theresa (2021) and Gordon Lindsey (2023) as well as in-laws Lawrence (1996) and Bella Gouin (2003). Many nieces, nephews, and extended family will also miss him dearly.

Pappy loved many simple joys in life like bowling and wrestling. He proudly received numerous awards over the years in these activities. Being involved in his kids’ lives brought him immense happiness; he spent countless hours coaching softball and soccer while always promoting teamwork, confidence, and fun. At home, you could often find him cheering for his favorite teams-the New York Islanders on ice and the Toronto Blue Jays on the field.

Above all else, Pappy will be remembered for his kind heart and generous nature. As a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and supportive brother-his warmth, humor, and endless love touched everyone lucky enough to know him. He will be missed deeply.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at WRH – Ouellette Campus on the 5th floor for their dedicated care towards Albert during this time.

Visitation will occur at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday February 8th from 2-5 pm and again from 7-9 pm. It will continue on Monday February 9th from 10 am until the Chapel Service starts at 11 am with cremation following thereafter. A Celebration of Life will take place later.

In honor of Albert’s memory please wear your sports jerseys if you wish.

Kindly consider making donations in memory of Albert to Windsor Essex Community Health Centre (we CHC) – Diabetes Wellness. You can share online condolences or cherished memories with the family at www. windsorchapel. com
