Drug Charges Filed Against Two Thunder Bay Residents

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – The Thunder Bay Police Service has reported that two residents from Thunder Bay are facing charges related to drug trafficking and proceeds of crime. This follows a search of a home and vehicle in the Limbrick Street area on April 28, 2026.

According to police, officers found suspected crack cocaine, suspected fentanyl, morphine capsules, items linked to drug trafficking, and over $8,000 in Canadian cash.

The estimated street value of the substances involved is around $81,600.

Investigation Conducted by Intelligence Unit

The investigation was conducted by the Thunder Bay Police Service Intelligence Unit with support from the Break, Enter, and Armed Robbery Unit.

This led to charges against 31-year-old Justine Beeley and 43-year-old Jeffery Mc Carthy, both residents of Thunder Bay. They have been charged with:

Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

After their first court appearance, both individuals were released from custody and are set to return to court at a later date, according to police.
