The Juno-winning rock band from Hamilton, Arkells, is set to start their global tour with two special shows this month in Kingston and Oshawa.
They’ll be performing at the Broom Factory in Kingston on February 26 and at Two Two Two in downtown Oshawa the next night before heading off to Europe for more performances.
The European leg of their tour will take them through Germany, the Netherlands, and England, before they return to Canada for a show at the Junos in Hamilton on March 29.
Formed in Hamilton back in 2006, Arkells have put out nine albums (five of which are gold certified) and have been nominated for 15 Juno Awards, winning seven times-six of those for Group of the Year.
Pre-sale tickets for the Kingston and Oshawa shows go on sale Friday, with regular ticket sales starting Monday. Their tenth album, ‘Between Us,’ is scheduled to drop on April 17.
