Paul R. Wilcox, Jr., 43, passed away on December 24, 2025, at Rochester General Hospital with his family by his side.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main St., Sodus, NY. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the spring at the convenience of the family in Butler-Savannah Cemetery.

Paul was born on August 31, 1982, in Rochester to the late Paul R. Wilcox, Sr. and Sheryl A. (Lamora) Wilcox. He worked as a meat cutter for Tops Grocery Store in Ontario. The greatest joy in Paul’s life was welcoming his son, Paul III-something he always dreamed of and truly cherished.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. He appreciated hard work and valued the friendships he made over time. As a devoted Buffalo Bills fan, Paul faced life with determination and a unique spirit that set him apart from others. He lived life to the fullest and did things his way; those who knew him will remember that special spark he had.

Paul is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Carney) Wilcox; his sons, Paul R. Wilcox III, Nicholas Martz, and Jacob Martz; his mother, Sheryl Wilcox; sisters Kristina Wilcox and Melissa Wilcox; brother-in-law Robert Carney; father-in-law Michael Carney; niece Abigail Freelove; nephews Tyler Freelove, Kenyon Harris, Kendrick Harris, and Kyler Harris; along with his beloved dog Millie.

He was predeceased by his father Paul Wilcox and mother-in-law Marie Carney.

If you’d like to help out instead of sending flowers, please consider making donations to Jennifer to support their son Paul III at 1612 Hennessy Road, Lot #48, Ontario NY 14519.
