Windsor police report that three teenagers have been arrested after a series of break-ins at a community center.
From March 2025 to January this year, officers investigated at least three incidents involving break-ins at the center located on Ouellette Avenue near Tecumseh Road. Damages included picnic tables, outdoor pool gear, and signs.
In every case, video footage captured the group entering the premises, causing damage, and then leaving.
The three youths were identified and turned themselves in to Windsor police headquarters last Monday.
A 13-year-old has been charged with three counts of break-and-enter. One 12-year-old faces two charges, while another 12-year-old has one charge against them.
The identities of the youths cannot be revealed under the Ontario Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The charges are not yet proven in court.
