Three individuals lost their lives following a crash near Tillsonburg, Ont., on Friday, as reported by provincial police.

According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the incident took place around 4 p. m. on Mall Road, situated between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line.

When emergency responders arrived, they discovered a collision between an SUV and a pickup truck on the road.

The two passengers in the SUV were transported to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The 75-year-old driver of the SUV was airlifted to London, where they later succumbed to their injuries.

Police stated that the passengers in the SUV, both from Princeton, were aged 77 and 60.

The driver of the pickup truck, who is 27 years old, was taken to the hospital with injuries that aren’t life-threatening and has since been discharged.

The OPP have not disclosed where either driver is from.

While investigations into the crash continue, police are urging anyone with information that could help them to get in touch.
