Police have charged a man from Oakville with the alleged sexual assault of two young females over the past five years.
Halton Regional Police Service started their investigation in October after reports surfaced that two female youths were sexually assaulted by an Oakville man.
The reported incidents took place at the suspect’s residence in Oakville between 2020 and 2025.
On Wednesday, investigators conducted a search at a home in Oakville and say they collected “numerous items.”
A 46-year-old man was arrested and faces multiple charges.
Calogero “Carlo” Triassi, 46, from Oakville, has been charged with three counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference, along with two counts of invitation to sexual touching. Additionally, he faces one count each of making child sexual abuse material and possessing child sexual abuse material.
The accused is being held in custody while awaiting a bail hearing in Milton.
Authorities believe there could be more victims and are encouraging anyone with information to reach out.
