A primary school in Pickering went into a Hold and Secure on Tuesday morning after receiving a telephone threat.
Durham Police arrived just before noon, and access to William Dunbar Public was restricted while they looked into the threat.
The situation was cleared, and the Hold and Secure was lifted around 2:20 p. m.
No further details about the incident were shared, but police are urging anyone with information to call 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2526.
