A man from Brampton is in trouble with the law after police noticed his commercial truck was driving on the QEW without some of its tires.
The Burlington OPP reported on X that in the early morning of January 21, around 3:03 a. m., the bobtail truck was heading towards Toronto on the QEW starting from Ontario Street in St. Catharines.
After receiving a traffic complaint, officers said they could see and hear the truck coming and pulled it over near Casablanca Blvd. in Grimsby.
According to detectives, as the officer approached to talk to him, the driver was filling out his daily inspection report.
A 36-year-old man now faces three charges related to commercial driving.
