The quest for the championship kicks off tonight at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
Kitchener Rangers supporters are getting ready for what promises to be an exciting playoff journey for the top-seeded Rangers, starting Friday with a first-round matchup against the Saginaw Spirit.
The Spirit struggled against the Blueshirts during the regular season, with the Rangers winning all four encounters between them.
Saginaw forward Nikita Klepov had an outstanding year, leading the OHL in points with 97-a remarkable achievement for a rookie.
Look for Sam O’Reilly to lead the Rangers; he was exceptional in March as they approached playoffs. The Tampa Bay Lightning prospect scored 19 points over just 8 games that month.
Game two will also take place at The Aud this Sunday before heading to Saginaw on Tuesday.
