With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dave Chiarotti, who peacefully left us on February 17, 2026, at the age of 61.

Dave was a man who loved deeply and sought love in return. He found his greatest joy on the water, spending hours fishing, soothed by the calmness of nature. On land, he felt a strong sense of purpose as he hunted and provided for his family with quiet dedication.

Known for his kindness, generosity, and gentle humor, Dave had a unique ability to connect with everyone he met. He was fiercely loyal to his friends and cherished the many relationships he developed throughout his life-always ready for a chat, a laugh, or some peaceful company. Each year, he would wear his Santa suit while riding his Harley to deliver toys to children-spreading happiness and light throughout the community. He never passed up an opportunity for a beer or an honest conversation about life.

Dave is fondly remembered by his mother, Loretta; sisters Lisa and Floria; wife Tabatha Dugal; children Cassidy (fiancée Alex) and Monika (fiancé Cameron); and grandchildren Skylar and Beau. He is also lovingly remembered by Tabatha’s daughter Amanda and her family-her brothers Rick and Randy, her sister Christine, along with Christine’s husband Steve-and all the friends who became like family over the years.

Now reunited with those who went before him are his father Italo, beloved daughter Sara, stepson Adam, and former wife Myrna.

May Dave find peace in tranquil waters under wide skies for eternity.

Visitation will occur at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME – BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Words of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 pm followed by cremation. A Celebration of Dave’s Life will take place at the Riverside Sportsman Club on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 4-8 pm. In memory of Dave, donations may be made to Ronald Mc Donald House Southwestern Ontario (Windsor site).

Online condolences and treasured memories can be shared with the family at www. windsorchapel. com
