In his homily, Cardinal Leo acknowledged the steadfast faith of the parish community and encouraged everyone present to keep building on this solid foundation with renewed dedication and service in the coming years. He also highlighted the essential roles both young people and seniors play in church life, pointing out that every generation is vital to the Church’s present.
After the Mass, a reception took place, allowing for fellowship and celebration. His Eminence stayed with the community to greet parishioners and share in the joy of this important milestone.
St. Justin Martyr Parish was founded on March 15, 1986, under its first pastor, Rev. Edward Mc Tague. What began as a community of around 1,200 families has expanded to more than 6,300 families over four decades. Today, it continues to serve as a spiritual home for a warm and welcoming community of faithful members. Through various ministries and pastoral initiatives, the parish remains devoted to nurturing a spirit of prayer, service, and discipleship.
St. Justin Martyr Parish gives thanks to God for His plentiful blessings and looks ahead with confidence, trusting in His guidance for future generations.
