Teresa Raffin passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Chartwell Oak Park Terrace, surrounded by her family. She was 90 years old. Teresa was the loving wife of the late Riccardo Raffin and the mother of Barbara Masotti (Larry) and Leo Raffin (Janice). She is also survived by her grandsons Christian Masotti (Sara Burgess), Ryan Masotti (Amelia Daigle), Matthew Raffin, her great grandson Arlo Masotti, and a soon-to-arrive great granddaughter (Baby Bean). Born in San Martino al Tagliamento, Italy in 1934, Teresa moved to Canada with her family when she was just fourteen to start a new chapter. Despite having little during her upbringing, Teresa gave so much love and support to everyone around her. She ran Fiesta Flowers for many years, served as president of the Erie Street Business Association, and was an active member of the Fogolar Furlan Club of Windsor. Additionally, she led the newly formed Fogolar Furlan Women’s Association. It’s hard for those who knew and loved her to imagine life without her presence. We are incredibly grateful for the caring support provided by St. Elizabeth staff and nurses Lisa and Marissa, Home Instead staff, Chartwell Oak Park Terrace staff, and Hospice of Windsor. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) located at 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Friday, August 8 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Prayers will be held at 4:30 pm that same day. Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 9 from 9:00 am until the service begins at 10:00 am. Teresa will be laid to rest privately next to her beloved Riccardo at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windsor Goodfellow’s, Autism Ontario West Region or any charity you prefer.
