Francis C. “Butch, Vern”

Age 85 of Little Canada

Fran passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Boerjan. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 60 years, Peggy. He is survived by his son Jim (Mary) Boerjan from Woodbury, daughter Peggie (Blake) Zimmerman of Inver Grove Heights; sister Diane Hammerschmidt; grandchildren Tara, Jamey (Matt), Mike, Zack (Maddie) and Jake; and his great-grandchildren, “Papa’s Boys” Skylar, Brody, Greyson and Connor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 12 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church located at 380 Little Canada Road E, Little Canada MN, 55117, with visitation starting at 10 AM at the church. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Fran loved spending time at the family cabin in Luck, WI. His humor and presence will be missed by all family and friends. Special thanks to Joyce, Kelly and Yonna for their assistance. Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association or a charity of choice.
