York Regional Police have shared video footage showing targeted shootings at two houses in Vaughan, Ont., earlier this week.

At around 3:30 a. m. on Wednesday, officers arrived at a home on Farrell Road, close to Bathurst Street and Major Mackenzie Drive, after reports of gunfire.

Witnesses mentioned seeing a silver SUV nearby during the shooting; it sped off northbound towards Allison Ann Way right after the incident.

A second shooting took place just minutes later at another house on Allison Ann Way, involving the same vehicle. Both homes were occupied at that time, but thankfully no one was injured, police stated.

“These same homes were previously targeted earlier this month and are believed to be connected to shootings at two other homes in Vaughan, located on Pottery Place and Lady Angela Way,” police said in a news release Friday.
